Pet Rules
Please do your part to insure that we can continue allowing pets by being a
responsible pet owner.
1. ALL PETS MUST BE PRE-REGISTERED. Failure to
pre-register and/or pay the pet fee automatically terminates your stay. No
refunds are given for the early departure.

2. DAMAGE DEPOSIT: $100 total (regardless of the
number of pets). Deposit is refunded after a Housekeeping check on the day of
departure. The following, while not exclusive, are incidents that will affect
the refund of your deposit:
(a. Pet fur on furniture and/or bedding.
(b. Evidence of pet urine or feces. (Often the ammonia in pet
urine removes the color from carpeting rather than just staining, thus
requiring replacement rather than repair.
Note: Damage deposits are only required for those reservations made after April
7, 2008; however, damage will still be assessed according to the above.
3. RESTRAINING YOUR PET: Your pet must be contained or
restrained at all times. Anytime they are on a the dock they must be on leash.
Because we sell food, they are not permitted in the office/gift shop - even in
your arms.
4. TOILET RULES:
(a. If your pet is not housebroken, it must be caged anytime it
is inside.
(b. Pets are not allowed to go to the bathroom anywhere in the
mowed cottage area; nor are they allowed in the cottage grassy area around the
playground at any time.
(c. Do not allow your pet to relieve himself on any flowers or
shrubs in the cottage area or on the dock.
(d. Come prepared with a "popper scooper" and bags.
Double bag, tie and leave in outside trash cans for pick-up.
EARLY CHECK-OUT
Guests with pets much check out no later than 8:00 am to give our staff
adequate time to treat their houseboat/cottage before the next guests arrive.
